Privacy Policy
PropertySalt is operated by Trex Media ("we", "us", "our"). This policy covers the account app and the marketing site. We aim to collect only what we need to run the service for you.
In plain terms: PropertySalt is a tool that lets agents create instant brochures, posters and share pages. You save your own details once so you do not have to type them in every time you make one. That is all we use them for. We do not use your data for any other personal purpose, we do not sell it, and we do not send you marketing you did not ask for.
What we collect
- Account details: your email address, and the profile information you enter such as name, agency, phone, licence number and languages.
- Approximate location: your country and city at sign-in, used for security and regional pricing. We do not track precise GPS location.
- Your content: the listings, photos, floor plans, logos and materials you create or upload.
- Usage information: basic device and activity data needed to keep the service secure and working.
How we use it
- To provide the service: rendering and storing your brochures, posters, carousels and share pages across your devices.
- To pre-fill your saved details, such as name, agency, phone and licence, into new materials so you do not have to enter them every time.
- To manage your account, plan and usage counts.
- To keep the service secure and to prevent misuse.
- To respond when you contact us.
Where your data is stored
We use Google Firebase (authentication, Firestore database and Cloud Storage) and Google Cloud Run to host and process data on our behalf, primarily in Google's asia-south1 region (Mumbai, India). We use Google Analytics for consent-based usage measurement, and, to show maps and regional pricing, we use Geoapify, Esri and OpenStreetMap for maps and geocoding and the lookup services api.country.is and ipwho.is for approximate country. Because we operate from India, data from users in the UAE and elsewhere is processed in India under these providers' security terms. We do not sell your data.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage and similar technology to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences and drafts on your device. We use Google Analytics only after you accept it in our cookie notice, and it stays off if you decline. We do not use third party advertising cookies.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Content becomes public only when you choose to create a share link, which makes that listing's details and photos viewable by anyone holding the link. We share data with the processors above, and where the law requires it.
Retention
We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete content or close your account, we remove it from active systems, though limited copies may remain in backups for up to 30 days before they age out.
Your rights
You can access and update most details in your profile, and you can delete listings and materials in the app. You can also ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and data, by contacting us at the address below. Where local law gives you further rights over your personal data, we will honour them.
Security
We use industry practices such as scoped access rules and encrypted transport to protect your data. No online service can be perfectly secure, so please keep your own sign-in safe.
Children
The service is for real estate professionals and is not intended for anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the service develops. When we make a material change we will update the date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
